Message from Genia

Hello everyone,

My name is Evgeniya Sidorova-Zonoff (Genia Zonoff) and I’m excited to join the school as the new Athletic Trainer and Health Clerk. I graduated from Washington State University in 2025, earning a Master’s in Athletic Training and a Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine. During my time at WSU, I had the privilege of working with both the rowing and football teams, along with spending time with Stanford Football. This role feels like a full-circle moment for me, since I’m a Fremont High School alum, Class of 2020, I was a cheerleader for all four years.

As an athletic trainer, my role is to support the health and safety of our student-athletes. Athletic trainers are healthcare professionals who specialize in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries and conditions. I’ll be working closely with coaches, teachers, students, and families to ensure athletes stay safe, recover properly when injuries occur, and return to play in the best possible shape. Beyond sports, I’m also here as a resource for student wellness, injury education, and emergency care when needed.
