Public Access: There are only two facilities on Fremont High School’s campus that are open for public use.

  1. Diesner Field, which is our stadium off of Sunnyvale - Saratoga Avenue is open for public use outside of school hours, school sporting events, and rental usage.

  2. Fremont HS Tennis Courts are available for public use outside of school hours, school sporting events, and rental usage is managed by the City of Sunnyvale (or their 3rd party vendor).

General Schedule: Neither Diesner Field or the Fremont HS Tennis Courts should have any public access prior to 4 PM in the afternoon. Please do not access these areas prior to 4 PM anyday Monday - Friday during the school year. Our district academic calendar can be found here. Also, both facilities are used by our after school sports programs. Sports at Fremont High School are governed by the CCS, you can find the CCS season calendar here.

Tennis Courts: According to our shared use contract with the City of Sunnyvale the Fremont HS Tennis Courts are available for use from 5 PM - 10 PM outside of tennis season and 6 PM - 10 PM during tennis season. Girls Tennis season is Fall and Boys Tennis season is Spring (see above CCS calendar link for exact dates). Saturdays and Sundays are public use unless there is a special event. All Fremont HS special events will be listed below. We will also list special events below that may impact parking for the Tennis Courts.

Diesner Field: Public access to Diesner Field and the Marty Mathiesen Track are open to the public outside of school hours 8:00 AM - 4 PM, and outside of sports season schedules. Fall, winter, and spring sports seasons the Diesner Field is heavily used by Football, Soccer, and Track and Field teams. These sports have priority usage of our fields. In the fall and spring the Mart Mathiesen Track is also heavily used by Cross Country and Track and Field. During the winter season the Marty Mathiesen Track is closed during soccer games.

  • Friday May 1st Field and Track both closed for the SCVAL El Camino Track Finals - both closed until event ends.

Fremont HS Tennis Courts:

  • Tuesday April 28th Fremont vs. Los Gatos Boys Tennis - Courts Closed until 6 PM

  • Wednesday April 29th - Both Track League Finals and the FUHSD Speech contest may impact parking.
