Dates

The Sunnyvale Cup will be played between Monday November 30th and Saturday December 12th, 2026.

Format

Round Robin, 40 minute halves, 10 minutes halftime. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw.

Tiebreakers:

  1. Head-to-head

  2. Goal Difference

  3. Goals scored

  4. Fewest goals conceded

  5. Fewest disciplinary points (Yellow = 1, Red = 3)

  6. Coin toss

COst

The entry fee for this year’s tournament is $700. We are hoping to provide 4 Varsity and 4 JV games for all teams.

host sites

There will be two sites this year, both in Santa Clara County. Fremont High School is the host school and will be the North site. Gilroy High School will be partnering with Fremont and act as the South site for the 2026 tournament. More host sites will be added based on need.
