Help Fremont Athletics Build Stronger, Safer Student-Athletes
Fremont High School Athletics has launched a new DonorsChoose project to help improve the equipment available to student-athletes in our Weight Room and Athletic Training Room.
The project, “Stronger, Safer Student-Athletes,” is focused on providing equipment that can be used across Fremont's athletic programs to help students train safely, improve strength and mobility, prevent injuries, and recover from the physical demands of practices and competition.
Supporting All of Fremont Athletics
Our Weight Room and Athletic Training Room are two of the most heavily shared spaces within Fremont Athletics. Rather than supporting a single team or season, the equipment purchased through this project will be available to student-athletes throughout our athletic program.
The project will add resistance bands for strength training, warm-ups, mobility, and rehabilitation; barbell pads to make strength-training movements more accessible for developing athletes; slant boards and kneeling pads for mobility, stretching, rehabilitation, and injury-prevention work; and additional supplies for our Athletic Training Room.
Approximately 300 Fremont High School student-athletes are expected to benefit from the project.
Every Contribution Helps
The total fundraising goal for the project is approximately $976, and DonorsChoose allows supporters to contribute at any level.
Donations through DonorsChoose go directly toward funding the requested project materials. Once funded, these resources will become part of Fremont Athletics and can be shared across our programs throughout the school year.
Our goal is simple: continue building an athletic program where Fremont students have access to the equipment, instruction, and support they need to become stronger, healthier, and more confident student-athletes.
